Crawford Brothers Farms is a family owned retail and wholesale plant nursery.
The farm is owned and operated by Tom and Tim Crawford with Robert Crawford Sr
as office manager. The business was started in 1999 with 1 greenhouse, a handful
of plants and the knowledge that it was going to take lots of hard work and time to
make things happen.
Hard work was not a new concept. The Crawford family has been involved in the
local nursery business for over 30 years and chances are that if you live in
Monmouth or Ocean county some of the plants in your yard were purchased at a
nursery owned by the Crawford family.
Since 1999 the business has grown considerably. We now have over 40 greenhouses
that contain well over 100,000 trees and shrubs at our Georgia Rd location. We also
have a second location that is used for field growing operations. This growth has enabled
us to better serve our retail and wholesale customers with more variety and larger
quantities of trees and shrubs.
At Crawford Brothers Farm we concentrate on one thing - supplying our customers
with the finest plant material possible at a reasonable and competitive price. We do
not landscape so our wholesale customers know they are not buying from a competitor.
